A 30mm silver case with gold-plating (\"vermeil\") housing a quartz movement with distinct horizontal lugs to which the bracelet is attached. It is said that Louis Cartier, in 1934, patented this new \"\u003cem\u003eattache\u003c\/em\u003e\" form drawing inspiration from the shape of the only two streets,\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003eRue de la Paix\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003eand \u003cem\u003eRue de Castiglione,\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003ewhich lead to\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cem\u003ePlace Vendôme\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003efrom above and below the square. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLike many examples of \"Must\" watches, the dial is a departure from the classic design language of Cartier.
