It was a one of a kind design, highlighted by a screw-tight \u003cem\u003ecabuchon\u003c\/em\u003e and v\u003cem\u003eendôme\u003c\/em\u003e lugs, meant to meet the needs of the Pasha. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe watch was modernised by Gerald Genta in 1985 as demand for sport, waterproof luxury watches increased. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis example is from the 1990s and retains much of the early design language of 1980s model. It features a cream dial with arabic numerals (3, 6, 9, and 12) and is sized at 38mm. The railroad minute dial is shaped as a square inside the round case (evidence of Cartier's love of playing with shapes) and the cabuchon is of course a beautiful blue sapphire. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis watch has some patina on the dial and scratches on the caseback, appropriate for its age.
